Hosting our first au pair was a very big decision, we had heard about hosting au pairs and the difference it could make to your work life balance but.....our dilemma was we weren't sure we could live with someone other than our family in the house??
I rang El Viaje to get a better understanding of the process. I was lucky enough to get through to Corrine and we spoke for nearly an hour. Corrine not only owns the agency but has hosted au pairs herself for many years. She really understood my concerns and could give me more insight to life with an au pair in your home!
I am now on my 4th au pair over a period of 5yrs and have never looked back. The first was the hardest adjustment but as the children are now use to our "friends" coming and old "friends" leaving the whole transition period is smooth.
El Viaje has provided all our au pairs and are so easy to deal with.

What Corrine doesn't know about au pair hosting is not worth knowing. She has taken us through years of hosting au pairs and has always been available to assist us through any questions or clarifications, support or ideas we were looking for.
If only she could make it easier to say goodbye to these lovely girls when their placement time is up but I guess the upside is we have stayed in contact with all our au pairs and look forward to them visiting us when they return to Australia.
